Our client, an international supplier of turnkey production facilities for automotive manufacturers, is looking for the Head of Accounting & Controlling (m/f/d) ad interim for its German subsidiary.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

Managing a team of five persons (part of the accounting processes (debit and credit management is outsourced.)

Treasury

• Cash management & forecasting
  
• Dunning processes requests for payment
  
• Plan / prepare cash-in & invoicing
  
• Monitor cash-out direct debits
  
• Cash Forecast
  

Tax/Legal

• VAT advance notification
  
• Legal procedures
  
• Insurances
  
• Annual VAT, Income tax, trade tax
  
• Review / comment legal agreements
  
• Stakeholder management
  

Accounting

• Check postings
  
• Advisor to the team
  
• Quarterly reporting to Italy HQ
  
• Annual closing
  
• Interface to external accounting
  
• Interface to IC accounting
  

Controlling

• Manage escrow agreements with two major OEMs
  
• Budget & Forecasts
  
• Calculation of the hours per cost center
  
• WIP valuation
  
• Check monthly closing
  
• Support project manager

• Inquiries from the Team

The Head of Accounting & Controlling (m/f/d) is reporting to the local management as well as the Group CFO located abroad at the headquarters.
