Our client, a renowned management consultancy, is looking for an expert in Economic And Foreign Trade Policy (m/f/d) to promote domestic production and build export-oriented industries in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Tasks:

Design of financial incentive policies to promote domestic production and development of export-oriented industries.This may include the following potential measures:

• Expansion of existing financial incentive packages
  
• Strategic, technological and supportive incentive packages to promote foreign direct investment and export of products
  
• Tax and export incentives
  
• Export financing and export subsidies
  
• Financing of education and training programs
  
• Common infrastructure, logistics and processing areas
  
• Simplification of regulations and licensing costs
  
• Access to debt capital and simplified financing conditions

• Policy expert with extensive experience in working with national (ideally in the UAE) and international institutions, organizations and agencies
  
• Proven experience in the design as well as implementation of policies, regulations and guidelines to promote specific industries (ideally defense industry)
  
• Expertise in the design of financial incentive packages as well as strategic, technological and supportive incentive packages to promote foreign direct investment and export of products
  
• Expertise in the design of tax and export incentive policies
  
• Arabic language skills (big plus)
