The company is a group of hotels, mainly in Jakarta. The businesses are not achieving the expected financial performance. The CRO will be in charge of analyzing the root causes of the hotels’ insufficient performance and deliver as well as implement a comprehensive turnaround plan. Additionally, the CRO will report on a regular basis on the progress of the turnaround.

Tasks to be performed by the manager

• Analyze the current economic and financial situation (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet)
  
• Set up business case for restructuring concept – Ensure cash flow expectations are met
  
• Industry analysis/ benchmarking
  
• Define targets and align them with shareholder
  
• Detect suitable levers and instruments
  
• Develop project plans
  
• Divide actions into manageable work packages and assign clear responsibilities
  
• Define tracking criteria
  
• Explore new financing opportunities

The ideal candidate / manager

• University level education desired, masters or postgraduate studies preferred
  
• More than 5 years of experience in turnaround management
  
• ideally with hospitality/hotel experience
  
• Knowledge of real estate, corporate finance, restructuring and turnaround management
  
• Shows leadership in tough situations, strong interpersonal & analytical skills, but is sensitive to political issues, able to travel
