Aufgabenstellung

What the role is:

The Project Manager - Talent Management will support the Corporate Human Resources function with the global deployment of SuccessFactors Talent Management suite including 4 key modules; Personal Profile, Learning Management, Goals mediating between the business stakeholders and IT Implementation Consultants.

  1. Lead Change Management initiatives across the business to ensure successful adoption of new processes and the IT tool
  2. Manage the implementation-partner in configuring the online system to support the desired processes; mediating between the business stakeholders and IT Implementation Consultants.
  3. Lead Change Management initiatives across the business to ensure successful adoption of new processes and the IT tool
  4. Deal with German works council and drive the implementation of a works council agreement (“Betriebsvereinbarung”) for the system.

The incumbent will be expected to:

  • Support the strategic goals of the project through innovative processes that improve the visibility, quality and engagement of talent across the organization.
  • Pick-up the existing project plan, which is currently at the beginning of implementation phase and lead the global rollout. The rollout is a phased approach, so the incumbent is expected to consistently combine short-term project deliverables with long-range planning for future phases.
  • Deliver the first-phase rollout for each module to all employees within 2015.
  • Lead a strategic review process for future development ready for 2016.
  • Lead the end-to-end negotiation and agreement process with German Works Council from communication strategy, through documentation phase to final approval.

Direct resources available

Internal:

  • 1 full time Project Co-ordinator
  • 1 part time System Analyst
  • 1 part time Working Student
  • Informal Regional support from HR

External:

  • IT Implementation Partner
  • Change Management/PR Consultancy

What the role is not

  1. Global Talent Management is a relatively new function, so the organisational readiness for such processes varies, therefore the incumbent will need to work from grass-roots to create new processes (and/or merge various existing ones) and lead the required Change education globally.
  2. This is a corporate role and so the incumbent will not be involved in regional operational HR decisions.

PERSONAL BEHAVIOURS - What’s essential?

  • Collaboration – Ability to engage, listen and successfully influence multiple stakeholders globally, including Senior HR, Managing Director level and the project team.

  • Project Management – Ability to stay on top of several sub-projects and ensure on time and on budget execution.

  • Personal Leadership – Ability to demonstrate courage, integrity and a commitment to excellence in all decision making and business practices, and support the Project team as such.
  • Hands-On – Whilst this is a key management role, the project team is lean and so the incumbent will be expected to be hands-on in system; from testing, supporting query resolution etc.
  • Charisma & Trust – We’re a fun corporate team who value connection, openness and commitment. Together we work very hard but balance this with authenticity & laughter. This connection creates a strong trust among the team.

What’s not acceptable?

We are a historically a decentralised organisation, so whilst the Project Manager is the key decision maker, the incumbent cannot make key decisions in isolation. This must be a collaborative effort.
