Our client, an international management consultancy, is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Management Expert (m/f/d) ad interim for a high-end / luxury fashion retailer to optimize the inbound supply chain organization, processes, and IT systems along the entire value chain.

Main tasks:

• Analyze, evaluate, and benchmark existing inbound supply chain structures against leading luxury fashion retailers
  
• Identification of measures to improve supply chain management and logistics performance in order to increase planning reliability and transparency in the supply chain (focus on data consistency and system interfaces)
  
• Support in evaluating the results of interviews and workshops to identify efficiency factors and optimization measures in supply chain management and logistics
  
• Provide specific support in deriving optimization levers aimed at improving process performance and ensuring process adherence

• Many years of experience in supply chain management or logistics within high-end / luxury fashion retail or department store environments (e.g., Oberpollinger, KaDeWe, Alsterhaus, Breuninger, Le Bon Marché, Galeries Lafayette, Selfridges, Harrods, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Isetan, Mitsukoshi, Lane Crawford, Globus, De Bijenkorf)
  
• Substantial expertise in end-to-end supply chain management with focus on inbound processes (procurement, inbound delivery, goods receipt, distribution, e-commerce fulfillment, retail replenishment)
  
• Deep understanding of organizational design, operating model development, KPI frameworks, and process optimization
  
• Experience in benchmarking and establishing efficient governance and performance management structures for supply chain organizations
  
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (ideally Microsoft Dynamics AX), WMS solutions, and analytics tools (e.g., BigQuery)
  
• Expertise in Master Data Management (MDM) and Product Information Management (PIM), especially at the interfaces between content and supply chain
