Project management

Turnkey construction of a new school in Brussels. The construction project is located on military grounds of the US Army. The construction sum: approx. 28 million EUR. 

Project status: Start of interior finishing and building services, as well as infrastructure and outdoor facilities. 

Further information on the construction project: 

- Construction work only, planning by customer

- Contract according to US FAR under consideration of local Belgian regulations, contract language English

- Execution according to USACE regulations 

Tasks:

- Responsible for the overall management of the construction project

- Reports to the JV Board of Directors

- Leads a construction crew of approximately 15 employees

- first point of contact for customer representatives on the construction site

- At least 10 years of professional experience in a comparable position in international building construction

- Proof of execution of 3 reference projects with comparable construction task (EUR 30 million, administration/school, turnkey)

- Very good knowledge of English, Additional language skills in Flemish and/or French would be helpful

- Preferably knowledge with US construction

- US QC- Management Training Certificate and OSHA advantageous would be helpful but is not required

- Knowledge in scheduling system Primavera
