Our client, a leading international management consultancy, is looking for its client, an automotive company, for a procurement expert (m/f/d).

Main tasks:

• Responsible for defining and releasing Request for Proposals (RFPs) and analyzing the incoming RFPs
  
• Negotiate with suppliers (mainly parts and components) to secure favorable terms
  
• Establish new agreements and contracts
  
• Conduct operational and transactional tasks within the procurement process

• Hands-on sourcing experience in an automotive environment
  
• Proven track record of delivering results
  
• Experience in sourcing parts, especially in scenarios of missing parts management
  
• An engineering background is desirable
  
• Skilled in sourcing parts during various stages of production, such as the beginning or mid-cycle of a production series
  
• Speaks preferable Italian
