Our client, an international top-gear logistic service company, is offering a whole range of logistic and supply chain services, i.e., 4PL.

The company is in the process of re-aligning and transforming the procurement of carrier services (Air, Ocean, Road) and is looking for – up to 3 – Interim Managers (m/f/d), experts in procuring logistic services on an international scale from a strategic as well as operational perspective.

Key tasks:

• Assisting in the development and subsequent implementation of a departmental concept according to the specifications of the departmental management and the CEO
  
• Implementation of a central purchasing team for Air, Ocean, Road and Rail, taking into account the inclusion of a Shared Service Centre abroad
  
• Tendering of defined lines in the truck sector as part of a benchmarking project
  
• Creation of a carrier database
  
• Definition of processes for tenders
  
• etc.

• Operational management experience / skills in the logistic service industry (4PL-Services)
  
• In depth experiences in procuring logistic services (road, see, rail) on an international level
  
• Experience in re-aligning relevant processes, procedures, structures, etc. as well as managing and enabling operational teams by “roll up the sleeves”
  
• Excellent communicator (in English)
  
• Managerial experience in dealing with corporate clients delivering and procuring logistical services
