Our client, an international management consultancy, is looking for a Sustainable Finance Expert (m/f/d) to advise on the development of sustainability lending capabilities, e.g., in industrial companies.

Note: This project is part of a tender. The actual assignment depends on whether our client wins the project. Due to the tendering process, the decision may take more time.

Main task:

• Advisory support to develop a sustainability framework, select appropriate performance indicators and set realistic sustainability performance targets to enable companies to use Sustainability-Linked Loans as a financing instrument within their financing model.

• Experience in advising on the development of sustainability-related credit capacities, e.g. in industrial companies
  
• Several years of professional experience in corporate or project finance, capital markets or sustainable finance advisory
  
• At least 4 years of professional experience in sustainable finance, ESG ratings or sustainability reporting
  
• At least 5 projects related to advising issuers or borrowers on the execution of a Green Bond/Loan or Sustainability-Linked Bond/Loan transaction
  
• Ideally knowledge of the EU sustainable finance framework (e.g. the proposal for an EU Green Bond Standard, the EU Taxonomy and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive)
  
• Experience with technical assistance or project development assistance with EU institutions in the last 5 years is an advantage
