We are a private equity asset manager based in Germany. The firm has a fund of funds division that invests in small-cap private equity funds across Western-Europe, with a focus on first-time funds.

We look for 1-2 candidates, that are available to perform Due Diligence on Private Equity Teams, usually over periods of 2-3 days in any Western-European country. Focus is to assess their operational capabilities (how hands-on are they? how systematic are they? how do they support the development of the portfolio companies? how replicable is their investment strategy?) by meeting the whole team and visiting selected portfolio companies.

Some of this funds focus on turnaround, so the candidates should ideally be very experienced in this field.

 

The output should be a Due Diligence report that helps as better assess the quality of the team.

The first project would start end of next week in Spain, but we expect to generate several projects a year.
