Our client, an international management consultancy, is looking for a Subject Matter Expert (m/f/d) ad interim to provide strategic and operational support in the field of municipal services and smart city development. The goal is to support urban transformation processes, strengthen municipal service delivery, and contribute to the implementation of digital and community-driven initiatives. There will be selective deployments, 90% of which will take place remotely.

Note: This project is part of a tender. The actual assignment depends on whether our client wins the project. Due to the tendering process, the decision may take more time. Details of the term and availability serve as initial orientation and are finalized in a personal exchange with the client.

Main tasks:

• Advisory on urban development, governance, and municipal service strategies
  
• Input on infrastructure topics such as waste management, public spaces, and utilities
  
• Design and support of Smart City initiatives, including digital transformation projects
  
• Guidance on public financial planning and funding mechanisms
  
• Implementation support for citizen engagement strategies and participatory processes
