Our client, an international management consultancy, is looking for a Senior Expert (m/w/d) Sustainability and ESG Regulation for Automotive Industry for expert consulting on a need-basis, not only for the German / EU region but also with expertise on the corresponding topics in North America and Asia (focus on Japan).

Main tasks:

• Subject Matter Expert role to support the project team in the following areas
  
• Provide expert advice
  
• Judgement on specific sustainability
  
• ESG regulation questions 
  


• Participate in client workshops and meetings

• In-depth sustainability / ESG know-how and experience in the Automotive industry
  
• Topic expert in one or more of the following areas of expertise:
  
• Commercial vehicle emission regulation (e.g., EU, EPA, Japan)
  
• Sustainability / ESG disclosure requirements / regulation
  
• Labor and / or environmental law
  
• Sustainability / ESG risk management
  
• Corporate and product carbon footprint management
  
• Know-how in the area of carbon accounting / emissions (e.g. GHG protocol, Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2088, Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/1818, Regulation (EU) 2021/1119, Directive  2010/75/EU, Directive 2013/39/EU and Industrial Emissions Directive)
  


• Experience in the commercial vehicle industry
  
• Region scope: Europe, North America, Asia (esp. Japan)
