Our client, an international management consultancy, is looking for an experienced Senior Expert (m/f/d) Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) of Indirect Procurement ad interim in Automotive. The focus is providing of BPO expertise to customers project team regarding selected categories and sub-processes in Indirect Procurement.

Note: This project is part of a tender. The actual assignment depends on whether our client wins the project. Due to the tendering process, the decision may take more time.

Main tasks:

• Category Segmentation: Conduct category analysis to identify outsourcing scope and regional differences. Define the outsourcing scope and determine “outsourcing waves” for phased implementation. Establish "on the ground" transparency on key issues and root cause
  
• Functional Analysis & BPO Potential: Perform functional analysis of procurement processes, deriving outsourcing potential in terms of FTEs, team size, and volume of documents. Leading and tracking of implementation
  
• Definition of Retained Organization & Process Design: Develop the target picture for the retained procurement organization (incl. organizational set-up, processes, roles and responsibilities, activity split) and establish a collaboration model with the BPO provider.
  
• Transformation Plan: Develop a comprehensive transformation plan for the BPO outsourcing with detailed milestones and manage stakeholder involvement. Align communication and reporting formats for the transition process
  
• Business Calculation: Define assumptions for the business case, calculate cost-savings and ROI for the outsourcing project. Align the business case with senior management for final approval. Manage key stakeholders on board and works council level

• Extensive experience in the field of Procurement BPO, including board level and works council communication
  
• Expertise in concept & strategy (typical pitfalls, key business case dimensions, designing in retained procurement organization)
  
• Procurement outsourcing expertise with full procurement category outsourcing from category strategy to operational buying and selected sub-process outsourcing (purchase-to-order/Pay processes, low-value sourcing, master data management) including implementation
  
• Project experience in overseeing the BPO provider selection/tendering process, including creating RFI/RFP documents, conducting tender discussions, negotiations
  
• Knowledge in transition management, including planning (roll-out, knowledge transfer,...) in projects for transferring procurement processes/activities to a BPO provider
