Our client, an international technology group, is looking for an experienced Head of Technology Transfer (m/f/d) to design and implement a structured technology transfer process to promote new venture activities.


Main tasks:

  • Identification, evaluation, and prioritization of internal innovations, technical assets, and intellectual property with high commercialization potential in line with strategic investment theses
  • Development and maintenance of a structured overview of relevant internal assets such as patents, prototypes, know-how, and industrial capacities
  • Ensuring the transferability and maturity of technologies, including documentation, licensing, and ownership clarity
  • Establishing clear processes for the preparation and transfer of technologies to start-ups and venture collaborations
  • Coordinating with corporate research, IP management, and specialist departments to align technology and venture strategies
  • Leading and developing a team of Innovation Manager / Technology Scout Team, promoting an innovation-oriented transfer culture

Requirements & Expertise

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in technology transfer, IP management, or innovation management, preferably in technology-driven industrial companies
  • Proven expertise in connecting market opportunities with existing technology and patent portfolios
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the evaluation, preparation, and commercialization of technological assets in the context of corporate venturing or start-ups
  • In-depth understanding of the transfer of complex technologies to new fields of application or business units
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills at an international level
