Our client, an internationally operating company producing specialty chemicals, is in the process to buy and integrate a substantial business from an international company.

To design and execute the HR-related integration a global HR Director (m/f/d) ad interim is needed.

Main Task:

  • Evaluate the entities to be integrated from an HR-related perspective.
  • Analyse the HR-related synergies and develop a target organisation.
  • Calculate the costs / investments required to integrate the business unit and implement the target organisation.
  • Lead the execution of the HR-related transformation.
  • Set up a new and integrated HR-function.
  • Communicate in all aspects effectively with all relevant stakeholder (especially labour representatives / unions)
  • Etc.


The main part of the integration in terms of employees will take place in Germany. However, it is a global role which requires an international exposure and a certain travelling activity.

Requirements & Expertise

Requirements

  • In depth experience / knowledge regarding German labour laws and practices (Betriebsrat, Betriebsübergang, Sozialpläne, etc.)
  • Comparable HR-track record regarding an international post-merger integration
  • Mental ability to work against challenging deadlines and budgets
  • Substantial experience in working with Anglo-Saxon PE-owned companies
