Our client, an international management consultancy, is looking for a Senior Expert (m/f/d) to improve the efficiency and productivity of a Passenger Airline.

Main Tasks:

• Support of our client's group controlling in setting up the program control for a productivity control program:
  
• Selection of steering parameters (KPIs), validation of ambition levels and (rough) financial assessment of the impact of parameter changes on P&L/ unit costs (CASK)
  
• Design of management-oriented performance reports and performance dialogs with AOCs/group functions
  
• Accompaniment of performance dialogues with AOCs/ group functions incl. sparring and impulse setting, if necessary initialization of best-practice exchange between AOCs
  
• Preparation and support in the preparation of board meetings for performance reviews
  
• Key note speech or support of preparation at a CFO community event on performance management/dialogues and productivity improvement programs (optional)

• Extensive and in-depth experience in the core processes of airlines
  
• Several years of experience in airline management in at least three of the following functional areas
  
• Staff operations: 
  
• flight ops (cockpit, cabin)
  
• ground ops (airline side)
  


• fleet- & network management
  
• IRREG management
  
• Maintenance
  


• Extensive experience in setting up and managing airline productivity/efficiency improvement programs and knowledge of best practices
  
• In-depth know-how of productivity-related top KPIs and their impact on unit costs (CASK), i.e. combination of operational know-how with controlling/finance-related expertise and experience
  
• Extensive experience in sparring senior managers (finance, operations, executive) of large AOCs, top management-adequate communication and moderation skills
  
• Experience in setting up and conducting action-related performance dialogs
  
• Clear Advantage: Willingness to contribute pro bono to the preparation of an offer for our customer at short notice (end of CW6/beginning of CW7) - input expert knowledge
