Our client, a company in the renewable energy sector, is currently in the process of outsourcing its Accounting/Controlling/ Finance department and reducing its related workforce. As part of this transformation, the company is looking for an Accountant/Controller (m/f/d) ad interim to take over and ensure the execution of the remaining in-house tasks and activities. Most likely, the role will include a high proportion of remote work.

Main tasks:

• Support for 5 legal entities
  
• Maintenance and management of master data (suppliers, customers, general ledger accounts)
  
• Capitalization of fixed assets and recording of disposals
  
• Invoicing in the oil/gas sector as well as for JV OPEX, CAPEX, ABEX, and charge-ins/charge-outs
  
• Preparation and management of consortium settlements (half-yearly) as well as execution and posting of payment runs and inventory postings in the ERP system
  
• Importing bank statements into Microsoft Dynamics 365
  
• Determination of fair values for hedges and creation of posting templates in accordance with HGB and IFRS
  
• Account checking and monitoring to support controlling and compliance
  
• The controlling part focuses on cost centers, cost units, and reporting

• Several years of substantial experience in operational accounting, ideally at an international company
  
• Expertise in preparing monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
  
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, particularly in the areas of finance and ERP
  
• Comprehensive knowledge of asset accounting and the valuation of financial instruments (fair value/hedges) as well as in-depth understanding of financial processes in group and investment structures
