Aufgabenstellung

The Managing Director can drive the company through the changes and challenges expected for the near future, in particular business growth, cost control and ability to work and collaborate with other functions within an international matrix organization. He/She will be responsible for the full P&L management and will be accountable for all local industrial activities.

  • Contribute to the definition of the strategy of the entity, according to the Group guidelines;
  • Improve the profitability and competitiveness of the Plant for all the industrial production;
  • Successfully manage the change management phase of the plant, which will include the identification of possible new efficiencies;
  • Drive the development of the plant (target is +50% of revenues in few years)
  • Develop her/his people; s/he will play an important role in the growth of local young talents;
  • Further support business development actions.
  • Understand business trends and anticipate strategy changes (prepare and propose medium-long term plans to the management team, prepare yearly plant improvement plans, follow up regularly, understand potential future issues, anticipate required changes);
  • Achieve financial targets (manage and coordinate cost reduction plans, control costs, understand and correct profit deviations, anticipate profit decreases, manage business decreases or increases, focus on pay-back oriented investments);
  • Drive continuous improvement

Anforderungen & Kenntnisse

Anforderungen

  • The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, its drug development processes and regulations.
  • He/She will understand the challenges in drug development and the opportunities for a CDMO, and in particular be capable to manage capacities, development projects and routine-work.
  • He/She will be familiar with change situations and be able to set up and implement appropriate structures.
  • The ideal candidate will represent the company externally convincingly and build on the quality and customer satisfaction in order to facilitate significant growth.
  • At least 15-20 years of overall experience in the manufacturing operations of a pharmaceutical industrial company
