Aufgabenstellung
Ausnahmsweise suchen wir für eine befreundete PE-Gesellschaft und deren Portfolio-Unternehmen einen Sales&Business Controller in Festanstellung. Hierbei wenden wir uns an passgenaue, dynamische, unternehmerisch geprägte Controller (m/w), die in eine Festanstellung bei einem top aufgestellten, internationalen Unternehmen mit Sitz in NRW wechseln möchten bzw. eine solche Person kennen.
Die Position bietet sehr viel Gestaltungs- sowie Entwicklungspotenzial und ist entsprechend dem Potenzial des Kandidaten nicht nur auf das Sales&Business Controlling beschränkt. Das Gehaltspaket beträgt in der Spitze einhundertzwanzigtausend € p.a.

Job Purpose:
Commercial and financial analysis as well as sales controlling different business units maintaining pipeline accuracy and mapping of the process within the used ERP/CRM-Tool.
- Further develop and prepare regular management board reporting (including relevant operational and financial KPIs) to allow for proactive management of business
- Continuously review plan versus actual and proactively suggest actions to counter potential deviations
- Define and monitor commercial sales standards (quote templates, NDA and contract templates, project calculation templates)
- Support sales on commercial items in quote preparation; prepare project margin calculation for special bids (all non-standard bids)
- Validation of Sales Pipeline and Planning in Sales CRM tool. Support sales in correct forecasting.
- Prepare commercial analysis on regional, sales channel (OEM, Partner, Reseller) and customer profitability. Support Sales VPs with commercial analysis and reports.
- Preparation of revenue and billing as well as other financial reports, on a regular basis as well as on demand for the management.
- Compilation of order and order backlog reports, on a regular basis as well as on special request for the sales managers and Finance team.
- Assisting sales teams with preparation of yearly budget, budget controlling and forecasting.
- Liaison with team leader and other department managers to resolve and respond to complaints. Take part in sales meetings to understand strategy and status.
- Assist with the resolution of invoice and pricing queries
Organisational responsibilities:
- Reports to the Head of Corporate Controlling / CFO (depending on seniority of person)
- Close co-operation with sales teams and other operational parts of the company
- Support Business Operations Specialist in capacity constraints or as vacation replacement

Anforderungen
- A self starter who takes the initiative and works proactively
- Experience in working in an international company within a controlling function
- Experience in multi business unit organized company
- Experience of working in controlling and with sales teams (ideally wihin the IT-industry)
- The ability to work to deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent MS-Office skills, esp. Excel as well as Business Objects experience
- Graduate in business administration or similar
